The
Andover Historical Society houses an extensive collection of
objects, photographs and archival materials from all periods of Andover's
history.
Ranging
from textiles and costumes to household goods and farm implements, our
collection tells the stories of the many individuals, families and businesses
that have had past or present connections to the town.
In addition to the c.1820s period rooms of Amos
Blanchard House, the Andover Historical Society also creates temporary
exhibitions for display in our Meeting Room Gallery and other spaces
within the Museum.
Study of objects from the collection is permitted with advance notice
by contacting the Society's office at 978.475.2236.
