HISTORICAL NOTE

This collection consists of twelve deeds and one note of hand, issued between 1762 and 1843 all concerning land “ on the westerly side of the road leading from John Russell to the old Boston Road” and other land in the Scotland District in the vicinity.

The collection was given to the Society in 1942 by Miss Mary Caldwell.

It has no accession number.
