NOTE

The records of the Andover Chapter of the American Red Cross extend from 1915 to 1976.  In 1915, the Andover Tuberculosis Association, already in existence for some time judging from the existing minutes, voted to become the Andover Public Health Association.  In 1924, this group, which since 1919 had been raising money for the American Red Cross, voted to become a branch of the Red Cross.

The records consist of minutes, 1915-1935; records of the Annual Roll Call (Fund Raising,) 1919-1941; printed annual reports 1951-1975; a souvenir program from 1956 and six scrapbooks covering the years 1949-1976.
