In this collection is material concerning the
house and barn at 97 Main Street, built by Deacon Amos Blanchard in
1819, which in 1929 became the headquarters of the Andover
Historical Society. It consists chiefly of deeds to the land and
house and material concerning renovations made since the Andover
Historical Society became its owner. These have been divided into
records of interior improvements, which include wallpaper simples,
and architectural plans.
